The Chest Medicine department, often called Pulmonology or Respiratory Medicine, specializes in diagnosing and treating diseases of the lungs, airways, and chest. These specialists (pulmonologists) manage conditions like asthma, COPD, pneumonia, tuberculosis, and chronic cough.
